Junior Rifle Program

The “Junior Rifle Program” at the Massasoit Gun Club is a program that teaches children from 10 to 20 years of age the fundamental of gun safety… The certified instructors from the MGC Junior Rifle Program teach all aspects of firearm safety, fundamentals of shooting, responsibilities of handling a firearm, and the sport of competitive marksmanship to the boys, girls, teenagers, and young adults who participate in the program. Benefits are realized when being part of a team shine through… The success rate of the MGC Junior Rifle Program has been stellar… We have had shooters that have gone on to West Point and the Naval Academy and hold national records in competitive marksmanship! Our program is absolutely free, we provide all equipment, rifles, and ammunition. You don’t have to be a member of the club to participate… The Program starts mid October and ends around the end of March.
